Mother’s Day is just two weeks away so now is the time to start thinking of some thoughtful gifts for your mum/mother in law and also send out some helpful hints to hubby as to what you may like to receive from the kids this year!
Of course, we all know the cutest gifts of all are the ones the kids choose and pay for themselves at their schools Mother’s Day stall, followed closely by a pasta necklace and a handmade card made out of Easter eggs wrappers! But there’s nothing wrong with a little healthy hinting if you’ve had your eye on something for awhile because let’s face it, as busy loving Mums, we deserve it!
So here are our top gifts for Mum this Mother’s Day and if our husbands happen to be reading this, then yes, we too would be happy with any of these items! Thank you honey!
Hart & Co Large Double Wick Soy Candle – $34
These are seriously the best smelling candles! Our fave is Japanese Honeysuckle but there is lots of other flavours to choose from such as Salted Caramel, Passionfruit and Lemongrass and Ginger so you’re sure to find a smell you love!
T2 cup and saucer – from $28
There’s nothing better than sipping tea out of proper little dainty tea cup complete with its own saucer (how la di da darrrling!). We love the bright patterns across the T2 range, perfect as a little afternoon pick me up to help you unwind as you sip your favourite brew.
T2 stainless steel flask with built in tea infuser – $45
These thermal flasks come in a range of gorgeous colours, simply fill the infuser with your favourite tea leaves and screw back into the bottle to work its magic, can keep your tea hot for up to 6 hours!

We are big fans of anything Australian made. Evodia Australia’s fragrance, bath & body care collection smells absolutely amazing and with product names such as Whitsunday Coconut & Lime, Byron Bay Frangipani, and Adelaide Hills Jasmine how could they not?! We love the Fragrance Roll-On (perfect to pop into your handbag), $12.95 the Body Butters (which rub in really quickly and nicely) $19.95, and of course another hand bag favourite, Hand Cream (non greasy and smells delish!) $17.95. With many gorgeous treatments to choose from, this is the ultimate in indulgent gifts for mum. The Freedom voucher allows you to tailor your spa package so you can receive exactly what you’re after, Mmmmm….. massage….
Bras N Things, China Doll Long Pj Set – $69.99
Is there anything better than new pajamas? Well, maybe slipping into new pajamas AND clean sheets but without pushing it…new pajamas will do just fine!
Kmart, Slipper Boots – $12
Well you really can’t go past a new pair of slippers! In fact, we’re pretty sure slippers need replacing at least once a year so what better timing than Mother’s Day!
Personalised Wreath Tote Bag from Bright Star Kids – $14.95
How super cute is this! We had one made for my mum from the girls! Bright Star Kids has heaps of cool products you can personalise from tote bags to cushions and even wine labels! (yes please! ha!) Their website is simple to navigate and you can view a preview of your product before submitting for print so you can see what design works best for you. Too easy!
Acacia Necklace, Bramble Creative – $50
Chelsea from i heart bargains bought this gorgeous necklace to our attention last week. Designed and made by Australian small biz, Bramble Creative, this beautiful personalised necklace comes with three hand stamped, metal plated, silver, gold and rose gold disks. I have ordered one with each of the kids initials on it and I can not wait for it to arrive (note, their website says there is a huge demand for these at the moment so may not arrive in time for Mother’s Day but we think it’s worth the wait!).
Happy shopping kids!
